Massive turnout on International Day of Yoga in India

PM at RajpathNew Delhi: There was massive turnout of dignitaries and people from all walks of life who joined collectively to perform yoga asanas (postures) at Rajpath in Delhi and every part of tehc ountry.

PM Narendra Modi at RajpathPrime Minister Narendra Modi, who also performed the Yoga asanas at Rajpath said “today Rajpath has become YogaPath”. We are touching new heights of development- technology has become a part of human existence, Modi said and went on to express concern saying if humankind fails to progress and develop internally, the mismatch (between materialistic progress and internal progress of human beings) would become the main cause for all our problems.

About 35000 people performed Yoga at Rajpath here.
