Bhopal: A special flag hoisting ceremony held at the Institute of Excellence in Higher Education on Monday 15th August to mark the 76th Independence Day, was attended by a large number of students and faculty members.
On this occasion, the Director of the Institute, Dr. Pragyesh Kumar Agrawal hoisted the national flag.
In his address, the Director said that it is the responsibility of every citizen to take the country to the pinnacle of progress. While stating that everyone should contribute in keeping their environment clean, he also emphasized that citizens should create awareness in the society against the menace of corruption. The students also should have the moral strength to shun unfair practices.
Dr. Agrawal went on to observe: “I am sure that with the support of so many dedicated teachers, staff and students, we will definitely be successful in taking the institute to newer heights”.
On this occasion, under the guidance of Dr. Indu Pandey and Dr. Anita Deshpande, the Cultural Committee organized a cultural program with the help of talented students. Few students also recited self-composed poems based on patriotism.
NCC cadets under the leadership of Dr. Rachna Singh Thakur and NSS volunteers led by Dr. Indira Burman actively participated in the programme.
