New Delhi: Governor of Punjab Vijayender Pal Singh Badnore and National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) President Raninder Singh, were among the 281 competitors who completed their pre-event training on Tuesday to set the stage for the Men’s Trap matches to begin at the 63rdNational Shooting Championship Competitions
The two rounds of qualification for both the senior and junior trap competitions will be conducted at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range (DKSSR)here on Wednesday.
Two more rounds will be played on Thursday with the fifth and final round and both the finals scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2019.
All top Men’s Trap exponents including former world champion Manavjit Sandhu, Kynan Chenai-presently the highest ranked Indian Trap shooter in the world, as well as former Double Trap world champion Ankur Mittal, will be seen in action over the three-day long competition.
Along with the above will be a bunch of 22 talented juniors, prominent among them Vivaan Kapoor, Shardul Vihaan, Vishwa Kundu, Ahvar Rizvi, Shapath Bharadwaj and Manavaditya Singh Rathore- all whom have already represented India in various international tournaments.
