As fruit bearing trees will also be planted along the banks, the beauty of the Narmada river will also increase, the Minister said.

Ms. Bharti was speaking to media-persons at Sehore in Madhya Pradesh. She praised Mr. Chouhan for his Narmada Yatra and said that through this campaign he would be protecting the Narmada River even for the future. The Narmada was the cleanest of all rivers and due to the chief minister’s efforts it will continue to remain so, Ms. Bharti observed and announced that she will extend all help to the Shivraj Government in this matter.

When asked whether or not she would be putting forward her claim for the post of chief minister of Uttar Pradesh after the Assembly election in that state, Ms. Bharti refused to comment but at the same time she was emphatic in saying that the BJP will form the next government in that State.
