New Delhi, Jan. 30: Arun Kumar Singh (IFS : 1979) presently the Ambassador of India to France has been appointed as the Indian Ambassador in the USA. He is expected to take up his assignment shortly.

Mr. Singh was earlier, before his appointment as Ambassador to France, was DCM, Embassy of India in Washington. He has Ambassador Singh has dealt with East Asia and Pakistan Divisions in the Ministry of External Affairs for several years.
