Talking to media-persons in Delhi, Mamta said she knew for a fact her phone was being tapped. Citing an example, she added if Abhishek’s (Mukherjee) phone is tapped, and I am talking to him, then even my phone is tapped. Pegasus has put everyone’s life in danger, its a matter of security she pointed out.

After tasting victory in the West Bengal election riding on her slogan “Khela Hobe”, Banerjee is enthused without end and is more fiery then ever. On Wednesday she improvised her slogan and said when General election comes (in 2024), Poore desh me khela hoga” – conveying that the next general election will be like a game that would be played on her terms.

For the present, the TMC goal is to ensure the Pegasus issue continues to stall the parliamentary proceedings.

Banerjee, on her first visit to the national capital after winning the general election to the West Bengal Assembly, met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and also Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejrival, with whom she discuused several political issues.
