Implementing comprehensive border control measures and protecting the lives of the Japanese people is a government responsibility, so I did an inspection visit to Narita International Airport, which is on the very front line of those measures, the PM said to build all round confidence regarding arrangements especially in view of the COVID crisis.

Reiterating his point, the PM said: “We are now only a week away from the curtains rising on the Olympic Games. I instructed the officials at the airport to redouble their efforts to thoroughly execute our border control measures”.
