Ahmedabad: NIA filed Supplementary Charge Sheet against 9 accused in NIA Special Court in Ahmedabad on Monday 29 August 2022 in the case linked with the seizure of total 2988.21 kgs of Heroin seized between 17 September 2021 and 19 September 2021 at Container Freight Station, Mundra Port, Gujarat by DRI , concealed in semi processed talc stone consignment.

The matter was initially registered by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Gandhi Dham on 13 September 2021, which was later registered by NIA on 6 October 2021.

The accused chargesheeted on Monday are members of International drugs smuggling network involved in trafficking of Heroin from Afghanistan to India for further distribution in Punjab, Delhi, Gujarat, UP and other states of India.

The details of accused chargesheeted are:
1) Sarabjit Singh @ Setthi S/o Manjit Singh R/o Bajwara Kalan, PS Sadar, District Hoshiarpur, Punjab; under Section 120B of IPC. Sections 8(c), 21 (c), 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.
2) Jannat Gul Kaker S/o Abdul Habeeb R/o Mohalla Aziz Ulla Kila, Zone No.6, Kanduz, Afghanistan; under Section 120B of IPC, Sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985, and sections 17, 18 of UA (P) Act.
3) Mujahid Shinwari s/o Lazeer KhanR/o Mohalla Ashin, District Linghara, Afghanistan; under Section 120B of IPC, Sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS act, 1985, and sections 17, 18 of UA (P) Act.
4) Shami Ullah s/o Thoor Khan (A-14), S/O Khudarahim R/o Dashat Arshi, District Kanduz, Afghanistan; under Section 120B of IPC, Sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS act, 1985, and sections 17, 18 of UA (P) Act.
5) Mohammad Lal Kaker S/o Khudaheen R/o Arshi District Kanduz, Afghanistan, Now R/o Xl5-38-A Ground Floor Kh.No.227 Forest Lane, Sainik Farm, Neb Sarai-1 New Delhi; under Section 120B of IPC, Sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985, and sections 17, 18 of UA (P) Act.
6) Imtiaz Ahmed S/o Mumtaz Ahmed R/O Rampur, District Rampur, U.P.; under Section 120B of IPC, Sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.
7) Imran Ahmed S/o Ali Ahmed, (A-17), R/O Rampur, District Rampur, U.P.; under Section 120B of IPC, Sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.
8) Balwinder Singh S/o Sajan Singh R/o Mohalla Shekhupura, Jandiala Guru, PS Jandiala Guru, District Amritsar; under section 120B of IPC, sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.
9) Jasvir Singh S/o Prakash Singh R/o Mohalla Shekhupura, Jandiala Guru, PS Jandiala Guru, District Amritsar; under Section 120B of IPC, Sections 8(c), 21(c), 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.
