Bhopal: Year-long Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being organised across the country to commemorate 75 years of India’s Independence.
To remind people about the horrors of partition and to make the general public aware of the pain, trauma and sufferings the citizens went through due to partition and creation of Pakistan in 1947, a special exhibition has been organised from 10 to 14 August at the Hamidia Road branch of Bank of Baroda in the State capital. The exhibition is titled “Horror of partition”
The exhibition was declared open on Wednesday 10 August 2022 by Tejkulpal Singh Pali, Chairman Bhopal Chamber of Commerce and Industries. On this occasion, Mr Pali paid tributes to the brave freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. He also reminded those present of the horrors of partition.
