New Delhi: When Congress President Sonia Gandhi went to the office of the Enforcement Directorate in response to a summon and was being questioned for over two hours in a money laundering case related to the National Herald newspaper, her party leaders and workers staged protests across the country and at places even indulged in arson on Thursday 21 July 2022.
Many Congress leaders, who tried to march to the Enforcement Directorate office in Delhi were detained by the Police.
Congress MPs also staged protest and showed placards accusing the Govenrment of misusing the Central agencies in Parliament. Many Congress MPs even trooped into the well of the House and raised slogans near the Speaker’s podium.
