New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation has busted an inter-State gang and arrested three accused for possessing illegal wildlife material.
A case was registered against three accused and unknown others. It is alleged that a network of inter-state gang was involved in illegal trafficking of wildlife material. CBI, in association with the officials of Wildlife Crime Control Bureau, conducted searches at Delhi and recovered 19 tiger and leopard claws from the three accused.
Further searches were conducted at certain places in Jaipur which resulted in the recovery of 7 tiger and leopard claws.
The arrested accused were produced before the Competent Court at Delhi on Monday 18 July and remanded to Police Custody.
