Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday 3 July 2022 called upon the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party workers to work towards making the nation become Vishwaguru (World leader) in the 75th year of India’s Independence.
The Prime Minister was addressing a mammoth assembly of party workers at the imposing Parade Ground during the concluding session of the two-day National Executive meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party held in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Salient points of Prime Minister’s speech
“This meeting is being held at a time when the country is taking new resolutions for itself during the 75th year of Independence. As a political party, it is also important for the BJP to prepare a roadmap for the next 25 years and brainstorm on future policies and decisions.”
“The situation of opposition parties is very bad and we have to protect ourselves from every eventuality. We hould also remember that we are not working for ourselves but for the motherland.”
“Being out of power creates an existential crisis for many parties, whereas in the states where the BJP was not in power for decades, the party’s cadre remained committed to their goals and commitment. They were neother tired, neither stopped themselves in their path. In states like West Bengal, Telangana and Kerala, BJP workers are working tirelessly for the country even in the face of adversity. We are proud of our party workers.”

“Eight years ago, there was an atmosphere of despair, negativity, corruption and policy paralysis in the country, but when the people of the country expressed their faith in the BJP, there has been a big change in the country. We did not let the trust of the people be broken.”
“Today the identity of our government is Pro-People and Pro-active Good Governance. When the world was in a state of stupor due to COVID-19, we were continuously taking one step after the other. Despair has turned into hope, faith, trust and reverence. Today the country is moving from instability to stability. Today’s India has moved away from the era of appeasement and we are now on the path of fulfillment. We are committed that the children of the poor will not have to go through the kind of life they had to lead earlier – without basic amenities and opportunities to grow. Our goal is clear- we have to give a better future to the coming generations, a better life than today.”
“Why the party which was in power for decades could not decide any direction of progress for the country? Today there is direction of progress. Our policies and intentions are clear. Today our resolve is self-reliant India, vocal for local and welfare of the poor. Taking pride in its heritage, today’s India is building new dimensions of development. Today’s India is walking on the path of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”. This path of progress will re-establish the country as Vishwaguru.”
“Era changes, time changes, countries are formed, sometimes geography and history also change but our country was eternal, is eternal and is going to be eternal.”
“When the world was facing deep economic crisis due to Corona, the poverty situation was improving in India. When the economic activities all over the world were getting affected by the COVID pandemic, India was developing at the fastest pace in the world. At a time when the world’s supply chain is severely affected, India is setting a record in exports. When vaccination is still a big challenge in many countries, India stands on the verge of administering 200 crore vaccine doses. With the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, we have delivered 23 crore doses to the poor countries of the world and saved so many lives. India is working towards meeting and solving global challenges.”
“Today India is tired of family politics and old mentality. In the coming days, the people of India will no longer accept such mentality. Sardar Patel built ‘Ek Bharat’. He was the leader of the Congress party but we got the privilege of installing his tallest statue. Only we can build a museum for all the Prime Ministers of the country. Whatever is best in the country belongs to us – we are working with this spirit.”
