MUMBAI: Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari administered the oath of office and secrecy to Eknath Shinde as the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Devendra Fadnavis as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra at a brief oath taking ceremony held at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Thursday 30 June 2022.

Union Ministers of State Raosaheb Danve, Kapil Patil and Dr Bhagwat Karad, MP Manoj Kotak, former Ministers Chandrakant Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Pankaja Munde, Girish Mahajan, Pravin Darekar, members of State Legislature, senior government officials, family members of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and others were present.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated both Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis.

Fadnavis is an inspiration for every BJP Karyakarta. His experience and expertise will be an asset for the Government. I am certain he will further strengthen Maharashtra’s growth trajectory, the PM said.
