Bhopal: Lumière – the Literary Society of Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) , Bhopal and St. Aloysius’ College, Jabalpur, jointly organised a lecture earlier this week on ‘Research Methodology for Literary Studies’ as part of their persistent collaborative efforts under the MoU between the two institutes.
Dr. Shreeja Tripathi Sharma, the convener of Lumiare Literary Society, delivered the lecture for Postgraduate students of MA English who attended the online session from Jabalpur and Bhopal. She discussed how the methods and techniques of research can be practically deployed by the students of literature. She underscored the need to promote research in English literature rooted in India and urged the students of Madhya Pradesh to base their research on ethnic literature and cultural legacy.
Dr Neelanjana Pathak, Head of the Depanment of English, delivered the welcome address. The session was aimed at fostering a collaborative learning environment between the two institutions.
