Bhopal: Institute for Excellence in Higher Education (IEHE) in the State capital launched it’s literary society LUMIÉRE, on Saturday 8 January 2022 with the vision to promote literary activities in the institute and also the larger society.
The association seeks to reinforce humanitarian values in society, uphold Indian literary tradition, empower the underprivileged and encompass the under-confident, through acquisition of creative skills and humane interactions.
IEHE’s literary society aims to extract the the best from the society, especially it’s plural character and rich cultural diversity.
Joint Secretary Union Ministry of Power Raghuraj Madhav Rajendran was the Chief Guest at the E-launch. His inaugural talk was focused on his book ‘3 S and Our Health’. He appreciated the initiative and went on to underscore that the students be encouraged to improve their performance through life style changes.
Director of the institute Prof Pragyesh Agrawal also addressed the gathering. Dr Shreeja Tripathi Sharma, the convenor of the society, spoke about the initiative and proposed the vote of thanks.
Student coordinators Nishita Jha, Vanni Guru and Gouri Mathur conducted the program. Faculty members and students joined the session.
