Bhopal: Shortly after takeoff from Raja Bhoj Airport here, a plane crashed and fell in the agricultural field at Badwai village near Gandhinagar Nagar, a suburb of Bhopal, not far from the airport on Saturday 27 March 2021.

The ill-fated plane was a trainer aircraft on a cross country flight to Guna in Gwalior division. It had on board, the instructor and 2 tainee pilots.

A firebragde and rescue team was at the site of crash and the three onboard were immediately rushed to hospital. None of them is seriously injured.
