Nitish Kumar takes oath as Bihar Chief Minister for the 7th time

Union Home Minister Amit Shah greets Nitish Kumar after he was sworn-in as Bihar Chief Minister on Monday 16 November 2020

Patna: Nitish Kumar, on Monday 16 November, was administered oath as Chief Minister of Bihar by the State Governor Fagu Chauhan at a simple function at Raj Bhawan here.

Kumar has been sworn-in for the fourth consecutive term and seventh time as Chief Minister of Bihar. BJP President JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah were specially present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi of BJP and Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Ashok Kumar choudhary, Vijendra Prasad Yadav, Mecca Lal Choudhary, Sheela Mandal of JD ( U) took oath as a cabinet minister. Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi will be the new Deputy Chief Ministers.

Santosh Kumar Suman of Hindustani Awam Morcha and Mukesh Sahni of Vikas sheel Insan Party also took oath as Ministers.
