Ayodhya: The grand Deepotsav2020 to celebrate the festival of Diwali is being organized here on a massive scale this year by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
A Shobha Yatra was taken out, artists performed a mesmerizing dance at Ramnagari and a world record was also set with the lighting of 6,06,569 lamps to mark the occasion.
Ram Nagar witnessed various tableaux -from the Gurukul education of Lord Sri Ram to Ram Vanagman, Kewat Samvad, Sita Haran, Ram-Ravana War and Putreshti Yagya.
The symbolic arrival of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram to Ayodhya was greeted with drums and an enchanting dance performance by artists.
Governor Ms Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were especially present along with religious leaders.
Yogi Adityanath announced that Ayodhya will be developed as a Vedic Ramayan city and it will turn out to be the most beautiful city in the world. He also announced that Ayodhya will soon have an international airport.
