Mumbai: Was Rhea Chakraborty, the prime accused in the FIR registered by CBI in the case linked with actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died under mysterious circumstances, a criminal mole planted by a drug syndicate of poweful entities with the purpose of eliminating a rising film star or she was running her own money laundering racket along with her brother and henchmen, few of whom were planted by her at Sushant’s residence when she had a free-run of his place as the actor’s live-in partner till she deserted him a week before he died are questions that will be answered only by the investigation now being conducted by the CBI and the drug angle to be probed by the Narcotics control Bureau.

What’s a big tragedy and a national shame is the role of Mumbai Police and the political masters in Maharashtra as the Police did everything to fudge the investigation and lost no time in declaring that Sushant Singh Rajput had committed suicide.

This case took a new turn on Tuesday when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) wrote to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and CBI hinting at the possible use of drugs on Sushant.

Meanwhile CBI has issued summon two Mumbai Police officers who were part of the investigation conducted by city police.

Chat messages of Rhea have exposed the drug angle beyond suspicision. Her chat messages clearly indicate that she was not only consuming CBD but also procuring it in quantities that obviously meant for supplying to others. Cannabidiol better known as CBD, is a chemical compound known as cannabinoids found in the cannabis or marijuana plant. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis, and causes the sensation of getting “high” that’s often associated with marijuana. However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive. CBD in controlled dose is used against anxiety and depression. CBD also has the ability to act on the brain’s receptors for serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood and social behavior.

Cannabidiol is also administered in isolated cases to deal with bipolar disorder but experts are of the opinion that it does not improve manic episodes in people with bipolar disorders. This makes it explicitly clear that the smokescreen of bipolar disorder was created to cover up and explain why Sushant was kept on a dose of CBD if caught at any stage.

Cannabidiol is considered safe when taken by mouth or sprayed under the tongue appropriately. Cannabidiol in doses of up to 300 mg daily have been taken by mouth safely for up to 6 months. Higher doses of 1200-1500 mg daily have been taken by mouth safely for up to 4 weeks. Hence question arises, what was the daily dose of CBD being given to Sushant and for how long? If the dose was heavy, the criminal motive is obvious.
