The Foundation stone laying ceremony of ‘Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’ (Ram Temple) at Ayodhya, the birth place of Lord Ram on 5th August 2020, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will mark the resurgence of the great Indian civilisation and assertion of faith by more than a billion people.
The foundation laying ceremony will be a befitting reply to the waves and waves of barbaric invaders who had used the sword to kill and slaughter millions of Hindus who had refused to convert and change their religion during the course of the last millenium.
On the one extreme there was Babur- a marauder and religious zealot, who ravaged the Ram Temple at Ayodhya and built a mosque (Babri Mosque) over it (1494 – 1500) and then we have Goswami Tulsidas (1532-1623), the legendary poet, who gave us ‘Ramcharitmanas’, considered one of the greatest epics of all times.
The Babri Masjid had to go and it went the way it was built and what remains is the eternal Glory of Lord Ram, Ramcharitmanas of Tulsidas and people’s over-riding faith in Bhagwan Shree Ram – who came on earth as an avatar to leave the immortal message of victory of good over evil.
Prior to the public function on laying of the Foundation Stone of ‘Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’ at Ayodhya on Wednesday, the Prime Minister will take part in Pooja and Darshan at Hanumangarhi. He will then travel to Shree Ram Janmabhoomi where he will take part in Pooja and Darshan of ‘Bhagwan Shree Ramlala Virajman’. He will then plant a Parijat sapling and subsequently perform Bhoomi Pujan.
Prime Minister will unveil a plaque to mark the laying of Foundation Stone and also release Commemorative Postage Stamp on ‘Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir’.
