New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal for promotion of Kunhikrishnan P, Distinguished Scientist & Director, U.R. Rao Satellite Centre, Bengaluru from Level 16 of the Pay Matrix (Rs.205400-224400/-) to the Apex scale Level 17 of the Pay Matrix Rs.225000/-) with effect from 1 July 2020 or from the date of approval of the ACC, whichever is later, under the Merit Promotion Scheme.

Communication in this regard has been sent to the Department of Space on 14 July.
