Famous film actor Amitabh Bachchan and his actor son Abhishek, both have been hospitalised after they tested positive for COVID19.
Amitabh’s daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and grand daughter have also tested positive but they have opted for home quarantine.
In this scenario, a post raising a serious and ethical question on Bachchan’s hospitalisation is doing the rounds in social media.
We are quoting in verbatim the anonymous post, floating freely in the public domain.
“Amitabh and Abhishek both are asymptomatic and in fine shape. They have 3 bunglows at juhu with 18 rooms and a inhouse mini ICU with 2 doctors on 24 hours duty. They could have easily opted for a Home Quarantine as adviced for asymptomatic patients.
But they got themself admitted to Nanavati Hospital and Senior Bachchan in his every tweet is praising & thanking the Nanvati Hospitals and its doctors.
He is the Investor and Board Member of Radiant Group which owns Nanavati Hospital whose reputation got severe beating for hefty overcharging of bills, showing 7 out of 10 Carona cases as positive, and keeping patients longer then needed.
Is it a good scripting and acting performance by the Superstar of the millenium for uplifting the image of Nanvati Hospital.”
