Lockdown Mobile Movie Contest: Lokendra Singh, Manoj Patel and Gajendra Singh Awasya are winners

Bhopal. Writer Lokendra Singh and producer Manoj Patel’s short films ‘Samidha: Seva Parmo Dharma’ and film director Dr. Gajendra Singh Avasya’s short film ‘Corona: Info Hi Rescue’ have been declared the winners in the Lockdown Mobile Movie Making Competition.

The competition was organized at the national level by the Bharatiya Chitra Sadhana (BCS). Films in six categories were invited. Eminent film personalities announced and released the names of the winning films online on the BCS Facebook page.

‘Samidha: Seva Parmo Dharma’, a film by Lokendra Singh, who is a faculty member with Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication and writer, has been declared the winner in the ‘positive and inspiring story’ category. This film scripted by Singh has been edited by producer and filmmaker Manoj Patel.

‘Samidha: Seva Parmo Dharma’ highlights the services rendered among the people by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Presently, the Sangh volunteers are engaged in large-scale voluntary service for the poor, deprived and destitute, who are suffering the most due to the Corona crisis. Social organizations, like the RSS and Seva Bharati are providing food, ration, medicine and necessary support to the needy. This short film has been released online by eminent actor Rahul Singh.

‘Corona: Info Hi Rescue’, a film by another media faculty Dr. Gajendra Singh Awasya, has been declared the winner in the ‘Prevention from Corona’category. Direction and screenplay of this film is by Dr. Avasya and it has been edited by Shivam Vishrai. The film is all about protection against corona virus and the rules of lockdown.

Earlier, another film ‘Bacha: The Rising Village’ by Lokendra Singh and Manoj Patel also won an award.
