New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made an appeal to the people of India asking them to demonstrate their collective will and unity to fight COVID19 by switching off all lights for 9 minutes at 9 pm on Sunday, 5 April.

The Prime Minister has advised people to light diyas, candles and mobile phone flash lights and come out in their balconies or their main entrance to demonstrate their collective will and resolve to face the pandemic. He has particularly asked the people not to compromise even an iota on social distancing.
