COVID 19: Police registers FIR against Bhopal journalist

Bhopal: A journalist, who had attended Kamal Nath’s last press conference as Chief Minister on March 20, even after his daughter had been advised home quarantine on her return from England, has been booked by the Police under different Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The Shyamla Hills Police Station here registered an FIR against the journalist on Friday, 27 March 2020, under IPC sections 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant), 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life) and 270 (malignant act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life)
