Kamal Nath resigns; No floor test
Bhopal: The special Madhya Pradesh Assembly session that began at 2 pm in the state capital today to have a floor test for Kamal Nath to prove his majority on the orders of the Supreme Court was a tame affair as the Speaker NP Prajapati steered the session as it convened by announcing that there is no need for a floor test as Kamal Nath has tendered his Government’s resignation.
The path is now clear for the BJP to form the next government in the central Indian State of Madhya Pradesh
There was total absense of Congress MLAs from the House while the BJP legislators, who were in a jubilant mood, were present in full strength.
At about 3 pm, the BJP legislator party began it’s meeting at the State BJP headquarters here to election the leader.
