New Delhi: Supreme Court on Thursday, 19 March 2020, heard for the second consecutive day the petition by former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and senior BJP leader, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and others and directed that a floor test be conducted in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly by 5 pm tomorrow for Chief Minister Kamal Nath to prove his majority.

From the Kamal Nath Government side two weeks time was sought for a floor test but the Apex Court said that Kamal Nath must face floor test by 5 pm tomorrow.

We welcome the Supreme Court’s decision of floor test. This govt is not just a govt which has lost the majority but this is a Govt of brokers which has cheated the people of Madhya Pradesh.
