Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh government has appointed M. Gopal Reddy (IAS 1985) as State Chief Secretary.

Reddy, who had been posted recently as OSD in the Chief Secretary’s office to prepare the ground for him to take over as Chief Secretary on the retirement of SR Mohanty on March 31, assumed charge of the post of Chief Secretary today.

SR Mohanty has been posted as Director General State Academy of Administration.

The State Government also appointed Shobha Oza, chief spokesperson of the state Congress Unit, as Chairperson State Women’s Commission.
