New Delhi: National Investigation Agencvy (NIA) has arrested an accused -Mosaraf Hossain – in Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh Bengaluru Module Case.
The case (RC-19/2019/NIA/DLI) pertains to seizure of five Improvised
hand grenades, 3 fabricated grenade caps and an equal number of circuits of IEDs, one 9mm live round, one air gun, suspected explosive powder and other incriminating material on 8 July 2019 from a house in Chikkabanavara, under Soladevanahalli Police Station in Bengaluru District in Karnataka rented by members of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), a proscribed terrorist organisation.
Investigation has revealed that Mosaraf Hossain @ Hossain @ Moosa is an
active member of JMB, proscribed as a terrorist organisation by the Government of India. Mosaraf Hossain came to Bengaluru in the first week
of March 2018 with Asif Ikbal @ Nadem, to participate in subversive
activities in India. While staying in Bengaluru, he along with other JMB accused persons , including Jahidul Islam, Kador Kazi, Habibur Rahman, Adil Seikh, and Najir Sheikh, committed 2 dacoities in March-April, 2018 in Bengaluru to raise funds for JMB to wage war against the Government of India and to carry out subversive activities across India.
