Madhya Pradesh to have its first world-class Golf Course near Sanchi

Bhopal: A World Class 27-Hole Golf Course cum Resort and Hotel will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 220 crore at Ninod village near Sanchi – the World famous Tourist centre.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath handed over the letter of award to the Chief Executive Officer of Wesley Group Dorian Mulanse at Mantralaya here on Tuesday, 10 December 2019. State Secretary Tourism Faiz Ahmed Qidwai was present.

A delegation of Wesley Group called on Kamal Nath at his Mantralaya office. The Chief Minister told the visitors from the corporate sector that the state government wants to promote employment oriented investment and has ensured its policies are liberal. He informed them that the Tourism Policy (2016) has been amended in 2019 and the provision of Ultra Mega Project has been added to attract private investment in the Tourism Sector. This had led to the proposal for building the World Class Golf Course, Hotel Resort, Convention Centre and Helipad over 70.718 hectare of land at Ninod village

This project will facilitate direct employment to 310 people. According to the provision of the Tourism Policy, 247 vacancies in this project will be filled by those domiciled in Madhya Pradesh.

The Partner CEO of Wesley Group Mumbai Shri Alok Tiwari, Shri Taqaddus Khan and Joint Director of Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board Shri Suresh Jharia were present on the occasion.
