IAF airlifts 5000kg of rescue and life saving equipment for Maharashtra flood hit areas

Ahmedabad: South Western Air Command of the Indian Air Force has airlifted 5000kg of rescue & life saving equipment & 84 personnel by 2 Avro & 2 An-32 aircraft from Pune and Mumbai for Kolhapur and Sangli.

Meanwhile, according to PRO Defence Gujarat, helicopters are standing by at Pune and Mumbai as they couldn’t reach due to weather condition.
