El Paso (Texas)/ Dayton Ohio: After 20 persons were killed and at least 26 others were injured as a gunman opened fire in the walmart store at El Paso in Texas, there was a second mass shooting in the US in less than 24 hours in downtown Dayton, Ohio, where an assailant fired multiple rounds from a long gun at 1 am on August 4 killing 9 nine persons and injuring 26.

According to the Dayton Police, which was quickto respond, the shooter has been shot dead.

American citizens went to bed on 3 August watching the news of the El Paso shooting. early next morning they learnt of another mass shooting in Dayton Ohio.

Terrible shootings in ElPaso, Texas. Reports are very bad, many killed. Working with State and Local authorities, and Law Enforcement. Spoke to Governor to pledge total support of Federal Government.

The FBI, local and state law enforcement are working together in El Paso and in Dayton, Ohio. Information is rapidly being accumulated in Dayton. Much has already be learned in El Paso. Law enforcement was very rapid in both instances.
