Everest climbers Bhavna and Megha call on Chief Minister Kamal Nath

Bhopal: Two young mountaineers from Madhya Pradesh, Bhavna Deharaia and Megha Parmar, who scaled Mount Everest and hoisted the national flag on the highest peak recently called on Chief Minister Kamal Nath at the Mantralaya here on Friday 31 May 2019.
Congratulating both the mountaineers, the Chief Minister said that the State government is making special efforts to promote adventure sports. He said that state government will provide assistance to the mountaineers who scale Mount Everest.
On this occasion, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Jitu Patwari and Director Sports and Youth Welfare Dr. S.L. Thausen were present.
Bhavna Deharia and Megha Parmar are residents of Chhindwara and Sehore respectively.
Bhagwan Singh and Ratnesh Pandey, who are also from Madhya Pradesh, have earlier scaled Mount Everest.
