BJP President Amit Shah is the new Home Minister of India

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party President Amit Shah is the new Home Minister of India. Raj Nath Singh gets Defence, Nitin Gadkari gets the Road Transport and Highways and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises portfolios.

Nirmala Sitharaman, who was Defence Minister in the previous Modi Cabinet has now been given the important Finance and Corporate Affairs portfolios.

Ruling BJP heavyweight from Madhya Pradesh Narendra Singh Tomar is Minister for Agriculture and farmers’ Welfare and also Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj
