Maharashtra DGP gets three months extension

New Delhi: Director General of Police (DGP), Maharashtra, D.D. Padsalgikar, IPS (MH:1982) has been given extension of service for three months beyond 31 August 2018, the date of superannuation.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the Maharashtra Government’s proposal for extension in service of the State DGP. The extension is in relaxation of Rule 16(1) of All India Service (DCR) Rules, 1958, in public interest.
