Bengaluru: BJP’s Chief Minister nominee Yedyurappa has met Governor Vajubhayi and requested him to invite him to form the government.
Yedyurappa is confident that he would get the invitation from Rajbhavan and would also be given 11days time to prove his majority on the floor of the House.
Kumaraswamy, who has been elected as JDLP leader, is scheduled to meet Governor by 1 pm and claim his right to form government. Interestingly, 13 elected members have not taken part in ongoing Congress legislative party meeting. BJP claims that, there are members who are not in favor of JDS and Congress alliance. Picture is not yet clear.
Governor has to take a careful decision as it involves Constitutional supremacy, convention, precedents and case laws. All eyes are set on the movements of Governor.
