Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Cabonet presided over by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today (8 May, 2018) decided to hike dearness allowance and relief rates payable to government servants, pensioners, planned teachers cadre in local bodies, panchayat secretaries and local workers in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department in the 7th payscale by 2 per cent and in the 6th payscale by 3 per cent from January 1, 2018. The cash payment of the proposed hike of dearness allowance will be made in January 18 (salary of January 2018 payable in February 2018)
Contractual appointment rules
The Cabinet has decided to make amendments in the Contractual Appointment Rules 2017 for the Madhya Pradesh Civil posts from the point of view of administrative facility. Rule 4 (4) was established in accordance with the consent of the General Administration Department to fill such posts and promotions approved in the regular establishment in departmental setup, in such cases, which may be possible due to inevitable reasons for more than one year, the provision has been made for contract appointment.
There is provision for an investigation committee for cases of contractual appointment. Provision has been made to present cases as per order of the Cabinet on the recommendation of the committee. There is provision for contractual appointment in public venture/corporation/board/commission/ university.
Bhariya tribe of Chhindwada and Seoni
Amending the Rule 4-B of the Madhya Pradesh Public Service (Reservation for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes) Rules, 1998, the Cabinet decided to appoint any person belonging to the Bhariya tribe from Chhindwada and Seoni district, who applies for any post of contractual school teacher or Class III/IV post or Vanrakshak (executive) and had minimum qualification required for the post without following any recruitment process. Earlier this provision was only for Tamiya development block of Chhindwada district.
