Peshawar: At least 12 people, including six students, were killed and more than 30 were injured in a terrorist attack in Pakistan on Saturday.

Three burqa-clad armed Taliban militants came on an auto-rickshaw and attacked the students’ hostel of the Directorate of Agriculture Extension on the University Road in Pakistan’s northwestern city of Peshawar

The institute was closed for the Eid-e-Milad holiday, but about 70 students were present in the hostel.

The United States has strongly condemned the attack and offered deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
