British Queen approves new appointments to Government
London: The British Queen has approved the appointment of Penny Mordaunt MP as Secretary of State for International Development in place of Priti Patel, who had to resign following her controversial meetings with Israeli leaders and businessmen.
Priti Patel had kept Theresa May, the British Prime Minister, in dark about her engagements with the Israelis.
The Queen has also approved the appointment of Sarah Newton MP as Minister of State at the Department for Work and Pensions.Victoria Atkins MP as Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Home Office.Further information Penny Mordaunt MP was previously Minister of State for Department for Work and Pensions.
