Justice N.K. Gupta appointed Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta
Bhopal: Justice N.K. Gupta has been appointed as the Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta.
State Governor O.P. Kohli will administer the oath of office to Justice N.K. Gupta at Raj Bhavan here on Wednesday (18 October 2017).
Justice Gupta became a sessions judge in 1979 and a Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court on 3 May 2010. Prior to this, Justice Gupta has been Additional Registrar (Vigilance) in the High Court, Additional Director of the Judicial Training Academy, Special Judge (Prevention of Corruption), Special Judge Scheduled Castes and Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, Chairman Consumer Forum and Chief Law Advisor. As Additional Secretary, he has also held the charge of State Director Prosecution.
