BHEL Bhopal diary: Vigilance Awareness Week and Fire-fighting mock drill

Bhopal: A fire-fighting mock drill by CISF was conducted today at ISRO/MCF Main Satellite Control Centre Hall to test and demonstrate fire-fighting capabilities.

The fire-fighting mock drill was organised for 70 fire-fighters from CISF- MCF/ISRO; CISF-Fire BHEL, Bhopal; NDRF, Bhopal; DSCC- Army; Bhopal City Fire Services Division, Bhopal Police and Intelligence Bureau.

On this occasion A K Kiyawat, AGM (Safety) BHEL, Bhopal; R K Meena, Sr. Engineer and Sajid Khan, Sr. Fire Officer, Bhopal Municipal Corporation were present.

The joint exercise was held at the centre under the leadership of B K Singh, Assistant Commandant, CISF (BHEL, Bhopal).

Shailendra Kumar, Manager(MCF) and Surya Prakash Tripathi, Assistant Commandant (CISF) had a special word of praise for the mock drill. Both said that it would help in further augmenting and improving the abilities of the forces.

Vigilance Awareness Week

A lecture session was also organised at the auditorium of TIT Engineering college in the State capital to mark BHEL Bhopal unit’s Vigilance Awareness Week 2017.

On this occasion, AGM (Vigilance) Sanjay Dhavle, administered the Integrity Pledge.  G.K. Dixit, who addressed the students as chief guest, said: “Eradication of corruption is essential for progress of our country. It is expected of the youth that
they will take every step to create a corruption-free environment in their respective work areas”, he observed.

Director TIT Dr. SK Jain and Professor Sukul Lomash also addressed the gathering. AGM (HRDC) Amitabh Dubey proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony was conducted by Dr. Mrs. KV Padmaja, Dy. Mgr. (HRDC) along with the students of the college.

Officers of vigilance department Pankaj Jha DGM, BN Choudhary Sr. Engr. and Sr. Engr. (HRDC) Ms Meenakshi were present.
