Mumbai reels under the impact of heavy rains

Mumbai: Mumbai on Wednesday reeled under the impact of yesterday’s torrential rain.

Tuesday’s downpour, a record 298 mm of rainfall, was highest since August 1997.

Three persons were killed in separate house collapse incidents in the suburb of Vikhroli. The situation also got aggravated yesterday due to heavy tide.
