New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against Prof B.K. Mishra, Director, IIT Goa and former Director, Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (IMMT) at Bhubaneswar in Odisha.
It was alleged that the accused had amassed huge assets (movable/immovable) and was in possession of disproportionate assets (DA) to the tune of oer Rs. 1.14 crore (DA percentage-49.37%) to his known sources of income, during the Check Period from 1 April 2006 to 31 August 2016, which was before he took over as Director IIT-Goa.
Searches were being conducted today at the premises of accused at Bhubaneswar and Goa which led to recovery of incriminating documents. Investigation is continuing.
