Terror funding: NIA raids premises of Hurriyat leaders in Kashmir

Srinagar: The National Investigation Agency today raided 14 premises, including the residence of Hurriyat leaders and businessmen in the Kashmir Valley, in connection with terror funding.

According to officials, the searches and raids that started early this morning were in connection with reports of funds being received from Pakistan by terror groups and Hurriyat leaders for carrying out subversive activities in the Kashmir Valley.

It is learnt the raids were conducted in the same connection at many other places across the country, including Punjab and Delhi to bust the money route, especially the hawala channels that are being used to fund terrorist activities and keep Kashmir valley in turmoil.
