Moderate quake hits Rohtak, tremors felt in Delhi and adjoining States

New Delhi: Tremors were felt twice in National Capital Region of Delhi and large parts of North India following a quake of 5 and then 3.2 magnitude this morning with eipcentre, at a depth of 10 kms, near Rohtak in Haryana, 58 kms from central Delhi (Lat.28.8°N Long.76.7°E).

According to Meteorological department officials, tremors were felt in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.

The first tremors were felt at 04:25:56 hrs (IST) followed by more tremors at 08:13:15 hrs (IST).
