Bhopal: State level event of  International Biological Diversity Day 2017 is being organized in the State capital at Academy of Administration today (22 May). The programme will start at 10 am. The theme of the IBD 2017 is Biodiversity- Sustainable Tourism and Local livelihoods: Opportunities and Challenges for Madhya Pradesh to realize the Potential.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Secretary and Chariman of the State Biodiversity Board will be the Chief Guest on this occasion. State Principal Chief Conservator Forest will preside.

The Bhopal Biodiversity Camps 2017 organised at Kerva, Vanvihar and Kaliasot on May 20 and 21 were a big success with participation of over 150 persons from different sections of society.
