Shiv Sena MP assaults Air India official, 2 FIRs filed
New Delhi: Ravindra Gaekwad, Member of Parliament of the Shiv Sena today assaulted an Air India employee at Delhi because the aircraft he was boarding did not have the executive class.
Air India CMD Ashwani Lohani has informed that the airline in response filed 2 fir’s at the local police station, – one for assault and the second for forcibly occupying and detaining the aircraft for 40 minutes.
Last year, according to Lohani, there was a similar incident at Tirupati and it too was taken up in all seriousness. In a stern message, Lohani has reiterated: ‘We would not permit anyone to misbehave with Air Indians on duty and would go all the way to ensure that justice is done.”
