New Delhi: The Supreme Court today rejected a plea by the Congress to stay the swearing in ceremony and paved the way for Manohar Parrikar to take the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Goa.
Parrikar will be a sworn-in this evening.
Passing an order in this regard, the apex court directed that the senior most member in the Assembly be made the protem speaker and there should be a floor test on Thursday.
