New Delhi: The much tainted VYAPAM (Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal) now renamed as Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, which conducts entrance examination for professional courses like MBBS and engineering and recruitment tests for multiple State Government departments has once again figured in breaking news following the Supreme Court order today cancelling the admission of more than 630 students, who had enrolled in the five year MBBS course in different medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh between 2008 and 2012.
All petitions filed by a number of students in this matter were dismissed by a bench, headed by Chief Justice of India Jagdish Singh Khehar today. The students had gone to the Supreme Court after the Madhya Pradesh High Court had cancelled the admissions of more than 200 students after it was found that they had resorted to mass cheating and had used unfair means to get admission in medical colleges.
