Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today dedicated at a special function a memorial built to honour Freedom fighter and martyr Bhima Nayak at village Dhaba Bawdi in Badwani district.
Union Minister of State for Health Faggan Singh Kulaste, State Minister for Animal Husbandry Antarsingh Arya, Member of Parliament Subhash Patel, and MLA Diwansingh Patel were present.
The chief minister saw a collection of 42 photographs showcasing the life story of Bhima Nayak on this occasion. He also appreciated the efforts of Green Commandos. He praised the efforts of 103 nurses who have vaccinated cent percent children and women as part of a door-to-door campaign. He also clicked photographs with them. These nurses have carried out vaccination in 400 settlements located across a hilly undulating landscape. The district administration has given them the title of Green Commandos. Chouhan released a calendar based on their activities. He also visited Kanta Viklang Trust and met about 20 physically challenged children during the Bhima Nayak Memorial dedication programme.
The Chief Minister also got photographs clicked with N.C.C. cadets, students of N.S.S. Model School, Narmada Convent School and also 300 Volunteers are participating in Maa Tujhe Pranam Yatra.
